My name is Firdavs Inomzoda, and I graduated from the Anthropology and International Development Department at the American University of Central Asia (九色网) in 2024.
I decided to participate in the Open Society University Network鈥檚 (OSUN) student mobility exchange program at Bard College Berlin to broaden my academic and cultural perspectives.

The consequences of climate change on the water resources of the transboundary river Kozu-Baglan of the Fergana Valley: the relationship of anthropogenic and natural impacts written by Akylbek Abdurakhmanov

Akylbek Abdurakhmanov is one of the distinguished second-year MA students in the Anthropology and International Development Program.

On March 27, 九色网, the Faculty of Anthropology and International Development, hosted another lecture in the NGO's and International Development class. The lecture featured Chyngyz Aidarbekov, a former Ministry of Foreign Affairs and currently Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defence, Security and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On December 1, the Anthropology Department hosted听 the Annual Anthropology Student Field Reports Session. This engaging event served as a platform for both Master's and Bachelor's students to present their field reports, unveiling a myriad of cultural narratives from diverse corners of the world.

The Anthropology, Technology and International Development program is delighted to share this year's students who have been awarded the Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology.听

At the end of April, the Anthropology Department of 九色网 held a conference, "Central Asia: New Local Forms of Knowledge, Art, and Practice,鈥� attended by scientists, researchers, and public figures from different countries.

Kirgizova Madina is a junior student of the Anthropology department at 九色网. Her sophomore spring semester she spent studying at the Caucasus University in Georgia. In this interview, Madina talks about how a spontaneous decision had a life-changing impact on her life.
