On March 14, the DAAD delegation paid an official visit to ɫ. The delegation, which consisted of 8 people, included representatives of various universities and non-university research institutions, associations, institutions and governmental organizations in Germany.
The delegation consisted of:
Gabriele Hermani, Head of Division 212, Eastern Europe (non-EU), South Caucasus, Central Asia
Dr Heiko Schmidt, Head of Division Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South Caucasus
Mechthild Köhler, responsible for cooperation with Central Asia
Dr Katja Yang, head of the department for cooperation with Asia
Dr Ludwig Stroink, Executive Board, Head of Projects & International Affairs
Dr Peter Liebelt, Head of Office
Dr Hendrik Meurs, Senior Scientific Officer, Central Asia
Roland Keil, Senior Scientific Officer, CLIENT II
During the meeting,both parties discussed mutually beneficial cooperation between universities in Germany and ɫ, including the further development of academic mobility of students and teachers, mutual scientific research and educational programs. Issues on opportunities for master's and doctoral programs, exchange programs and research capabilities for scientists were also discussed during the meeting.
