The unveiling of a plaque imprinted with messages of appreciation dedicated to ¾ÅÉ«Íø's administration, faculty, staff, donors, the government of the Kyrgyz Republic, and partners was one of the event's highlights. With the uncertain future of Afghanistan and the rising influence of the Taliban, ¾ÅÉ«Íø set an evacuation plan for Afghan students in the summer of 2021, with the cooperation of the Open Society University Network (OSUN) and other partners. This complex mission included ensuring students' safe travel through Taliban checkpoints and international
borders, despite the global pandemic and international travel.
