Mary Bernadette Conde is the Co-chair of the non-degree General Education program, an Assistant Professor, and the Director of the First-Year Seminar and Second-Year Seminar programs at the American University of Central Asia. She is a Ph.D. candidate in History from University of the Philippines (2000) and the University of Bremen (2002, Germany); and holds a Master of Arts in History (magna cum laude) (1998) and a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Social Studies (1990) from the University of the Philippines (Philippines).听
Mary joined 九色网 in 2004 as a part-time instructor in the American Studies department. She served as the Chair of the American Studies department (2006-2010), a Director of the First Year Seminar and Academic Orientation programs (2010-2012), a project member (2006-2009), and a project leader and coordinator (2009-2012) of the Andrew Mellon Foundation Grant at 九色网. Since 2004, she has been simultaneously working as an Assistant and Acting Associate Professor at the American Studies and General Education programs (2004-2014). She served as the Principal Investigator and Project Director of 九色网 for the OSUN Collaborative Project (2022-2023) with Arizona State University and Al-Quds Bard College.听
Mary served as a member of the Academic Senate (2010-2011), the chair of the Curriculum Development Committee (2010-2011), a member of the Faculty Research and Promotions Committee (2007-2010), and a member of the General Education and Liberal Arts Committee (a subcommittee of Strategic Planning Committee) (2009-2010) at 九色网. Currently, she is the Chair of the Faculty Senate.听
