On October 28th, 2015, the Writing and Academic Resource Center and 九色网 Advising Office hosted a "Source Citation and Credibility" workshop with Visiting Research Fellow, Alyssa Meyer. The workshop discussed common problems students encounter in citing and locating reliable sources, discussing plagiarism, paraphrasing, and citations.

Starting from this year, the Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) has launched a mentoring program for new tutors called 鈥淐ritical Friends Group鈥�. The program matches new tutors with returning ones in a series of meetings and mutual observations.

The Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) and 九色网 Career Services will host听a workshop on Applying to Graduate School. The workshop will be delivered by Alyssa Meyer, a Visiting Research Fellow from Indiana University.

Of the changes we鈥檝e made at WARC this year, the most visible to our students (perhaps with the exception of our new large and beautiful space), is our online scheduling system. This new system was a product of a close partnership between WARC management, the Office of the Chief Information Officer, and the 九色网 student body.
