Within the framework of the PERETO project, COVID Free Guide with the focus on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) was developed for the HoReCa segment in Kyrgyzstan
The PERETO project team is pleased to present the “COVID Free Guide for the HoReCa segment” for the use of public, media and hospitality sector in Kyrgyzstan.
It was developed the ALE “Association HoReCa Club” with the support of the American University of Central Asia (ɫ), UNISON Group, Technopolis Group and Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) within the framework of the project “Promotion of energy security and sustainable growth through increased energy and resource efficiency in tourism SMEs in Kyrgyzstan” PERETO, which is implemented with the financial support of the European Union within the .
The goal of the guide – is to provide the domestic HoReCa sector with the most complete, useful and practical information to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The special feature of the guide is an inclusion of green practical advices on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) (see the green leaf informational blocks).
The PERETO project is aimed at promoting energy and resource efficiency in Kyrgyzstan, thus, we hope that these recommendations with help the HoReCa sector to minimize waste, electricity and water consumption, use gentle household chemicals to ensure disinfection of territories, premises, dishes, use reusable masks and dishes instead of disposable ones.

It aims at promoting energy and resource efficient technologies for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism industry of Kyrgyzstan (hotels, restaurants, cafes) through the introduction of various tools.
